Hi all,
I wanted to post an update incase it ever helps others also.
I applied for PIP back in September last year, requested a paper assessment due to my conditions and this was done in January… well the first one was!

My first report was scoring enhanced on both daily living and mobility. BUT dwp then sent it back to capita to get more information…
second report done paper based- zero points all round!
I managed to call and speak to a case manager after this and ended up speaking to my decision maker, floods of tears, could barely talk, shaking and she said she can see the drastic difference and how I was then on the phone, so rather than going off that, she would send it back to capita again..!
in the mean time I sent a huge email/letter detailing all my issues on each of the descriptions in detail that I have trouble with to both capita and DWP.
capita then arrange a phone assessment for me… for today at 9am.
But in the mean time responded to my huge email, and said they would forward it to the assessors team as they don’t want to cause me added stress with a phone call if I struggle.
had no confirmation either way what was happening, but my call was meant to be at 9 and nobody called me.
Now in limbo again as I’m assuming a third paper assessment is being done… which I guess is better than going the MR route right away but isn’t this just such a long winded story!!
