Like reed diffusers etc.

Does anyone use them?

Do they help you to relax or feel better in any other way?

I like Yankee candles, not the cheapest of products but the scent lasts. Lots to choose from as well. I wouldn't say they relax me but it's nice to have a lovely smelling room.

@vikingqueen  Thanks, yes that makes sense.

The main reason I was wondering about the benefits was I found lavender oil on pillow seems to relax me and help me sleep and wondering if there is anything else similar that has good effects.

I have a few relatives who like Yankee Candles. I have bought a few as gifts and they seemed very nice and high quality from a quick sniff but I have never burnt one myself. Might have to try one. :)

I tend to use my candles more through winter as I have a wood burning stove. 3 for £30 is an excellent price for the large ones, I usually put them on my wish list for birthdays etc..  ;)

I don't use candles or plug ins, I find things like that  irritate my chest, same as air freshers, except 1 and 1 forget the name of it now. Think it might be a febreeze one.

I don't like scented oils or sticks and candles scare me about fire hazard

I once saw a small child in a&e who had pulled a burning  candle off the window sill and the hot wax had gone over his head and face . Obviously it should have been out of reach

I bought some soaps today from Yorkshire soap company they look like cupcakes or one looks like slice cheesecake and they smell amazing I got lemon fizz , rose  and rhubarb . Too pretty to use but they present for my niece will make room smell nice even if not used . They were also boxed up individually in gorgeous handbag shaped boxes

I used to go In the soap shop called lush,  you could smell the shop before you got there. But it can be over powering inside.  Their bath bombs are very good, used to buy them for presents. I like the sound of the packaging on what you bought Jane, will  Look into that if they deliver

Yep, I sometimes wonder how the staff cope at Lush because I always find it to be a bit much. My partner loves the place though, even more so since she discovered their online shop...

I don't know how staff cope either in lush, I can only be in there a short time.
