Hi @soomoo thanks for joining and for reaching out this morning
It takes a lot of courage to be open about finding things a challenge, so well done. I know you're not alone in this feeling and I hope the community can be a supportive place for you.
Sometimes having a diagnosis of fibromyalgia can be helpful in explaining your condition, especially where the cause of some symptoms might not have been known before. Naturally there will also be negative emotions to work through too.
I think a lot of members here have experienced similar things, and can hopefully share their thoughts with you. It can be difficult to adjust to such a big change, but talking about it is a very positive step.
Is this something you've spoken to loved ones and friends about, or your GP? Do you have any concerns about the level of support you're getting at the moment?
You might like to visit our Chronic pain and pain management category, to chat with other members about your experience of fibromyalgia. If you feel we can help support you further with anything, please do ask.

Hello @soomoo. Welcome to Scope's forum. It is great to see you have joined us.
I can completely empathise with how difficult it is to come to terms with a diagnosis of fibromyalgia. I was also diagnosed with this.
Is there anything, in particular, about fibromyalgia that you are struggling to come to terms with and navigate at the moment or the whole condition?
Just wondering how we can support you best. Please don't hesitate to let us know if you have any questions or anything, in particular, you would like support with0 -
Hi, thank you for your positive comments I haven’t started treatment yet waiting for my gp to get in touch.
I was wondering if any one had used cannabis oil ? I would be very interested if any one had and had good results.0 -
Hi @soomoo. You are welcome. Positive comments are the very least you deserve.
Good luck with communicating with your GP when they get in touch. I hope you receive the support you need and deserve. In the meantime, we are all here for you and listening to you.
Honestly, I haven't tried cannabis oil. However, some of our community members may have experienced cannabis oil which they can share with you. Though, it is important to note that we don't offer medical advice here.
I personally find heat to always help me the most! But other people have said cold helps them so what works often varies between people.
Take care for now and I will look forward to hopefully hearing more from you again soon0
