Hi, just joined.  Been going through my "own personal hell" for quite a few years.  Wish to speak to people that have been on a similar "road".
I was born with cerebral palsy, right side hemiplegia, dystonic movement in the right arm.  I suffer from social anxiety, depression, anxiety, stress, you name it.

My main problem at the moment is the job centre and also trying social self back.

A warm welcome to the community from me too @The_BatDad :) Thank you for joining the community, and for being so open and honest in your first post here.

We have plenty of members who live with CP, so you're in good company. I've moved your post into our category for discussions relating to CP so that you can connect with other members in a similar position.

I'm sorry to hear that you're experiencing some mental health problems, too. Are you receiving enough support to help you manage your anxiety, depression, and stress at the moment? You're always welcome to pop into our mental health and wellbeing category if this is something you'd like to chat to us about further.

You've mentioned having some trouble with the Job Centre. Would you feel comfortable sharing a little more about what kind of trouble you've been having with them?

    also trying social self back

Just so I'm clear, do you mean that you're having trouble getting your social self back? If so, you're not the only one experiencing this :) As a first step, perhaps you'd like to join Scope and CP Sport's virtual CP cafe? It looks like the next one is actually today!

How are you? apologies that I haven't said hello before now. I have only just seen your post. What joys have the job centre bestowed upon you?
