I know a few people are waiting for pip assessments and decisions so I thought I’d share my experience.
I applied 11th of January and as well as the questionnaire I included lots of evidence, letters from my consultants and treatment plans, medication list from gp etc.
phone assessment was on 3rd of may. I had a lady from from a local support group near me who has helped a few people with their claims with advice, mainly because recently my speech has been affected by my condition. She was a big help even to just settle my nerves. Assessment lasted less than 20 mins.

Following day I received a text to say dwp had received my report.
Today I’ve been awarded standard rate the daily living and enhanced for mobility. Exactly what I felt I should get and the decision maker agreed with report. So it’s taken 3 weeks for me.
Money should go in my bank this Thursday 🎊🎉🍷
I’m so happy as this means I can get a mobility scooter and get out and about a bit again and not have to rely on my family so much.

Good luck everyone else. It is stressful I know lol

Hello @bexter73 thanks so much for sharing your experience with the community, I'm really glad to hear things went smoothly for you, and you managed to get through all the stress
It's not an easy experience, however long it takes, but it is so helpful to know you're not alone in going through it.0
