Hi
I'm a newbie to the site. I'm a carer for my daughter. Trying to make sense of PIP/ Mandatory reconsideration and why we suddenly don't qualify after 8 years!! :) Any advice would be gratefully received.

Hello there @judywill and a warm welcome to the community this evening! Thanks for joining and sharing a bit about yourself.

You're quite welcome to head over to our PIP category and start a discussion there, we've plenty of knowledgeable members who can help with any queries. I am sorry to hear that things have changed for you, if you'd like information on challenging a PIP decision, Turn2Us is a good place to read an overview of your options.

Please feel free to explore the forum if you'd like, there's plenty of chats and games to join in with in the Coffee Lounge or you can browse all our topics in the categories page. I hope you'll find the community a welcoming and supportive place.

If you need a hand with anything, or have any questions, please just ask and we'll do what we can to help :)

A warm welcome to the community from me too @judywill :) Thanks for joining us!

Have you had a chance to take a look at the comments above? If, after reading Turn2Us' page on mandatory reconsiderations (MRs), you're still unclear, please do give us a shout. Many of our members have been through the process of an MR, so you're in good company.
