Appeal hearing date received

Good morning all, hope u are all well. I just received my court hearing date for 23rd june two days before my birthday.  But what i am confused about now is that i asked for a telephone hearing but instead mine is a face to face hearing.

Some claimants are given face to face if HMCTS think it's needed. Don't be too alarmed if you don't get the decision on the day, this often happens and they will send the decision letter to you within a couple of days.

sorry i received another email after sending that message.  It is still telephone hearing. But do the dwp sometimes change there minds before the hearing date.

It's rare for DWP to offer an award before a hearing date so don't expect this to happen.
