My son is 19 with numerous disabilities and has to been accepted to live in a ground floor flat(this is because we are over crowded in our home) and it’s on 5 doors away from us and is anyone able to point us in the right direction in grants to help furnish and decorate his property as he only gets UC & enhanced care & mobility but we have a vehicle for his needs so don’t get the mobility money

In addition to @Biblioklept's suggestion I would suggest you contact Our helpline - Turn2us who can organise charitable grants for the purchase of white goods etc. Sometimes you need to be referred for the grant through an intermediary, such as your local citizens advice bureau, who should be able to help you as well.Online Community Adviser
