Hi everyone,
I'm Sharon & I'm a mum of 4. My eldest is 35 & the youngest is 13.
I'm parent/carer for my youngest - she has hypermobile spectrum disorder/ (suspected) hypermobile Ehlers Danlos Syndrome & is awaiting assessment for ASD & ADHD. We're at the start of her EHCP journey too.
I also have hEDS & 1 of my older daughters has HSD.
I live in a small village just inside North Yorkshire but I still say I'm in Leeds, as that's my home town.

Thanks for the welcome. I've just had my 1st support call with Navigate so that was really helpful. I'm finding the EHCP process really daunting & overwhelming, to be honest, & very worrying in case we have to go to tribunal if my daughter isn't given an EHCP.0

hello @sharanspinkact
Welcome to the online community. The good news is that you have come to the right place for lots of support regarding the EHCP process as many of our members will have had experience of this.1 -
I'm glad that Navigate are able to support you @sharonspinkact
I can imagine that'd be a worrying prospect! As Sue has said, we've had quite a few members post about their experiences with EHCPs, so you're in good company.
IPSEA are a good contact to save in case you need them in the future.
