Got a pip review letter in November 2021 and filled in the form stating no changes or anything and sent it back. Got an unexpected phone call 10 minutes ago saying they are from pip and want to ask me a few questions. Answered them took about 5 minutes and then at the end he said there going to give me pip for another 2 years and increase it also 😳 should get a letter in next 5 days.
Was not expecting that, but more than happy 👍

@life
Delighted to read your good news and thank you so much for your kind words on my post.
The decision makers must be catching up with the backlog or working overtime as there seems to be alot of decisions made recently.
Stay safe and as well as possible.
Kindest regards.1 -
@Biblioklept ya I was just getting up and I get the call. They called from the pip number so at least knew it was them, usually it's private number if I remember correctly the last time they called. Or was that ESA lol0

I received a totally random call last Wednesday ,that turned out to be a health assessment. No letter informing me,nothing!
Anyway, good news to you..Thats excellent news.
Mines already gone to the dwp. Awaiting results! I just wish the health assessors had written a note letting me know when they were calling..And it wasnt until i called Atos 2 days later, that i actually learnt that the call was an assessment.
They apologised, but that doesnt change the fact i wasnt well at all, had only just woken up and had a 10 min convo, where that was my last chance to get any point across.0 -
Thanks for your update too @Middleton. It sounds potentially nerve-wracking that it has already gone to the DWP and you are awaiting results, especially as it happened unexpectedly and suddenly.
What usually helps you in similar situations? We are here for you if we can do anything to support you or if you have any questions we might be able to answer0 -
