I suffer from disabilities and mental illness. I got a diagnosis of ADHD with RSD nearly 2 years ago at the grand old age of 52. I was forced to give up work last year due to my health and issues with a very unhelpful manager. I am now on ESA and am in the process of applying for PIP. I have been turned down so am going for MR. It is quite frankly a most stressful situation right now. My OH has just received a dx for prostate cancer, not so severe he needs treatment yet but is something else to add to my worries.

Welcome to the community @tatty68 It seems as though you have a lot on your plate at the moment, with your relatively new diagnosis, ongoing PIP challenges, and partner's diagnosis. How are you doing today?
Are you receiving enough support you help you manage your ADHD and RSD symptoms at the moment, as well as to navigate life with a new diagnosis? I don't know if you watch a lot of YouTube, but How To ADHD has some great videos.
How have you been finding the MR? If you need any support on this, you could try posting about your situation in our PIP category.
I'm sorry to hear about your partner's recent diagnosis, too. I can imagine that'd be worrying. You could always try chatting to Macmillan if you need someone to talk to for advice and support. -
Sorry to read your husband's diagnosis that's so worrying for you both
How does it feel finally getting your diagnosis of Adhd and rsd?
