PIP review form

robertt

Hello.
I was awarded PIP back in February 2020 due to clinical depression. My award ends in February 2023 . My question is , after I return this form to them, and if they decide to not extend my award, would my payment continue or it will stop before Feb 2023? Another question is , how likely they won't extend the reward if my condition stays the same, without changes?
Thank you.

If at review if you're refused then any current award would end once the decision is made. This is because a new decision overrules your current award.

No one can tell you what the decision will be on your review. Lots of people are awarded again after a review. You just need to make sure you treat it as a new claim and put as much information as possible in the form when you fill it out.

Thank you. Will I get phone assessment aswel?

How long roughly they take for decision to be made? There's nothing on the form regarding this. Thank you?

You will likely have an assessment, at the moment that is likely to be a telephone assessment but not all assessments are by phone.

Thank you. Do you know roughly how long will it take to hear from them about decision? I still haven't sent this form. I only received it today. Do u think that the whole process will take less than 6 weeks?

That’s very wishful thinking. It’s likely to be several months, rather than weeks.
Assessments are either by phone, video call or face to face at an assessment centre.
