Favourite game/occupation as a child?

My favourite occupation was definitely climbing trees when I was young. We had an orchard next to us full of Victoria plum trees and coxs apples and I became expert at climbing up and staying put while I ate the fruits. Great fun.

As far far as indoor games were concerned I liked building castles from packs of cards.

what was your favourite thing to do?

I used to like going to youth club disco twice a week

When I was little used to put on dancing and singing shows in the garden at my nans and she made drinks for the interval

I also went to tap and ballet classes right ip to being 17

My daughter used to put on shows like that, she went to tap and ballet until she was about thirteen or so @janer1967. Of course she loved the Riverdance when that came out.

I read books obsessively, I could finish a couple a day and totally hyperfixated on them. It was escapism and I eventually replaced that obsession with video games :D
I also loved cards and card games and would also build stuff with them as well @leeCal. I still do sometimes

@66Mustang Did you find that doing so much reading helped you at English in school, you seem to be good at writing.

I've found the less I read the worse my concentration has got which is a shame. I don't find books as stimulating as I did and don't draw me in as much as gaming does but I do still love to read.

@Biblioklept reading two books a day is fast, have you ever thought of proof reading?

I have heard that reading makes your writing better, so that may well be the case!

That’s really kind of you to say though, thanks :) although, I always thought I make a lot of mistakes! Also, I do have to look stuff up often like most recently the difference between “effect” and “affect” :D

I used to love playing curby throwing the ball across the road to bounce back of the curb, we played that everyday for years. Even now I'd love a game, too many cars now tho.
