"Work related activity will be tailored to the claimant"
Horrible process to be honest, just to be left for months on end between calls to UC to not do anything. like being on hold in life for having severe mental health issues.
First, you need to ask for the statement for reason and cone back to us.
I am curious to know why and how something would be tailored to you. I will like to know why the panel came to such conclusion so as say you could reliably work in a certain job or do a WRA.0 -
I will do what I can I'm very drained by all this and waiting for CA to contact me on my next steps.
everyone thank you for the support.0 -
Gcloud said:@Alex_Scope there is no other words other that that. this is the direct quote.
"whilst the tribunal accepts that the appellant suffers from anxiety the weight of the evidence does not support the conclusion that this is so severe that the appellant would be at the risk of deterioration to health if they were found to sufficiently fit to engage in work related activity since this is calibrated to the needs of the claimant"
over 2 years I've done zero work related activity as all my work coaches say that we wont ask you do do any at this time due to your mental health.
this will only make things worse in the end for me.
I don't think the reasons of the Tribunal is adequate. The evidence must be further evaluated that this. What about the risks to other people?
The decision sounds dodgy to me.
Must be one of "those Judges".0 -

I don't know what went on but by banning Mike and removing his posts is very detrimental to us the users of this forum.
I hope @admin can reconsider its decision.1 -

Thank you for saying something @calcotti as it needed to be said. Thank you too @AndrewHall - I also couldn't agree more; it's certainly very sad, & a considerable loss to the forum.

I have a few bookmarked threads because they were really useful to return to and to direct others too. All now meaningless because the useful information has been removed!
(Apologies to OP on this thread for sidetracking the thread.)0 -
Hopefuly people will be kinder to each other0

I knew something was wrong when I couldn't see Mike's posts and he himself complained about it.
Fortunately, I was able to copy and paste some of his posts for my own record.1 -

Same here, i had quite a few threads book marked, which i did post links to quite a few times. So much useful information is now sadly unavailable.

I'm not sure what that has to do with Mike being banned. He's such a lovely person, with a kind heart!

Hopefully people will be kinder @Lisatho11987777 , but so wish instead they'd always been kind, & we'd not have lost such a good, kind person as Mike. His input was invaluable, & he'll be sorely missed. My apologies too to the OP.1

@chiarieds its ok. this is a community driven by support, guidance and information . To lose someone who most respected as a person with good knowledge and insight on many matters it seems a sad loss to the community.
My post may bring comfort to some on the challenges that's faced with tribunals or how difficult they can be.1 -
I've been though a WCA tribunal recently and got LCW after 0 points in the assessment. I feel I should've got LCWRA especially since i've waited 3 years from application to tribunal, 2 years 6 months from application to assessment. The problem is that there is no legislation for DWP to carry out the assessment in any given time and they know that many people will be better on the day of the assessment. Had I been assessed some months after my application i'd have got LCWRA.
Looking at forums, LCWRA seems to be very hard to get and instead tribunals are giving LCW and then DWP don't ask the claimant to do any or much work preparation. This is almost the same as getting LCWRA except that there is no payment, hence DWP save money.0 -

If someone's had a decision they're happy with, they have no questions to ask so we don't hear their story.I can tell you that there's been quite a lot of threads on people being awarded LCWRA either after an assessment or at Tribunal stage. One of the most asked questions on the UC thread is "when will i receive the money i'm owed or when will the LCWRA payment start from"1 -

The fundamental problem is the long delays to assessments that arose as a result of the pandemic. It is difficult to see how an assessment can readily be made of how somebody was on a previous date.
There are also those who have never got assessed at all because they returned to work prior to being assessed and the WCAs were then stopped because they went over the earnings rules.0 -
Hello there @Gcloud I just wanted to check back in with you to see how you are getting on?
