Another 2 random questions, as I see takeaways and eating out mentioned often on the forum. Sorry if asked before, I can’t remember.
How often do you have a takeaway?
How often do you eat out in a proper restaurant?
For me the answers are:
Once a month.
Once every 2-3 months.

You are all lucky sods

I haven't eaten out like as a restaurant for years. Takeaways I have quite often but average maybe once a week. It's a bad habit but I struggle with cooking and it's the easiest way to ensure I'm fed

@Biblioklept yes that makes perfect sense. I can imagine if I didn’t have people to help me cook I’d order a lot more takeaways, or at least ready meals from the supermarkets. I’m slowly learning to cook different dishes though
Out of curiosity why do you struggle with cooking? Only if you want to answer that is.
For me it is a combination of just never having done it before, OCD making me not want to touch things, and finally obsessive thoughts about harming myself meaning I find it hard using sharp knives. -
How often do you have a takeaway? I’d say about twice a month
How often do you eat out in a proper restaurant? Maybe every three months
I do like doing both though. Cooking drives me mad! -
Hmm does Coffee shops count as eating out, if it does then at least twice a week, take aways about once every 2 weeks, restaurants about twice a montn
-
I prefer cafe Nero, only none in my town so do travel by car 30 minutes to nearest one accasionally. Has to be done.
-
The last time I had a coffee in a Costa I had to leave half of it, yuk!

Their shops maybe dull but their coffee is spot on, Costa I find I need an extra shot in as I find the coffee weak, which I didn't before.

We have a take away every Saturday, thats our treat.
Nice meal not enough times i would like more. x

What takeaways do most people choose?

Yikes, i forgot about coffee shops. If they are included then probably about 3 times a week, though it's not always sitting in. Looking after my grandson at least a couple of times a week, he has his afternoon nap in the car so as i'm drving round i pop to the drive thru for a quick coffee. Absolutely has to be Costa for me.

For me a take away is either dominos, chinese, chip shop or Mcdonalds. My daughter like indian but it's my least favourite.

We normally have chip shop or kfc. We love indian food but don't have it much via take away or eat in.
Sometimes we will have a subway or Burger King if we are out for the day. x -
Too many coffees out and also known to order coffee in. I do like going for coffee tho, it's like part of my time out. Meeting place etc

Indian is my least favourite too @poppy123456, I don't know why because I do enjoy curry but I just don't seem to get on with takeaway ones and it would be my last choice of a treat meal -

I absolutely love Indian curries. To me, you can`t beat a good old "ruby murray". I no longer buy take aways, I like to find a recipe from NDTV (New Delhi TV), buy the ingredients and cook it from scratch.
