Oh @rebel11 I'm so sorry it is all so draining, it isn't fair. Remember to take breaks and grab cups of tea

Congrats!! So your advised timeframe was correct. Even though others said otherwise 🙄. So happy for you xxJane888 said:Just got my text to say I have been awarded.Such a relief.
Timescales are only ever a guide. We advise up to 12 weeks because some wait longer than the 8 weeks given and some wait less than this.

Thank you @Angel247
Yes the time frames have been correct upon ringing the DWP centre . I don’t understand why when we question timeframes you get shut down with 12 weeks ? Of course it’s up to or can be but when coming on this site to talk to others and you see they are awarded really quite quickly those who wait are obviously going to worry and question…

Good morning,
@Angel247 and @jane888
Wow that is a bit of a 'catty' remark!
Not nice at all and in my opinion very uncalled for.
You do know don't you that the members on here who I feel you are referring to after reading some of your other comments are amongst the most knowledgable, kind hearted and helpful people who go out of their way to give us the most up to date and more importantly correct information and advice.
They do this as a way to help, advise, in their own time and out of kindness and are unpaid. Where else could you get this information free of charge from?
Their knowledge is priceless and I for one am very grateful that they take the time and trouble to give us such quick and correct advice.
Yes, they can give approximate time scales but no one can foresee exact timescales so it is based on experience and current information available.
Had you been applying and waiting for a PIP decision up until just a few weeks/months ago the time scales could have been around up to a year or more waiting time.
Please try to remember we all come on here for advice and we should be calm, kind and thankful.
Regards
Schoolmum
