    It was me that initiated the assessment after being told on more than three occasions I was not entitled to anything more than what I was already on

    You will need to request a mandatory reconsideration.
    State that as the change from LCW to LCWRA has resulted from a review following a report by you of a change in your health you understand that the LCWRA decision should be backdated to the date you reported the change.
    Set out details of the date when you requested a review.

    That's not correct in this case. If you report a change of circumstances and have another assessment the extra money is paid from the assessment period in which the changes were reported.
    If a review was started by DWP then no backdated money would be owed but this didn't happen in this case.
