Hello,
I have been a member of this group for 2 years and often read the posts and discussions. I find them informative and always interesting.
I have used a wheelchair for around 10 yrs or so. Various spinal and neurological conditions continue to be a challenge everyday. I do however, remain very positive. Like everyone this is sometimes a huge challenge to overcome.

I have been involved with helping Rotary Clubs in the middle of England, which is the area where I live. We do various projects to "Do good in the World", locally, nationally and internationally. It gives me a great deal of satisfaction to help others. It provides me with a great deal of social contact. I have made some great new friends. It is a real positive in my life. I would love to share this with others.

I have joined a new type of club. M&M Rotary is a new fortnightly on-line Rotary Club. We all do what we can, when we can. There is absolutely no pressure to attend all meetings or all events. Our objective is to be flexible and diverse. We want EVERYBODY to be involved. This includes you!

It doesn’t matter if you are, for example, a student, a doctor, a stay-at-home parent, a trader, a farmer, someone with a disability, or a social worker. We need young and old, the employed and those not working, folks living with a long-term medical condition, teachers and athletes, etc. You can live anywhere in the world!

I hope this post is acceptable. It just seems to me that if I can enjoy being involved with Rotary so much, then why not let other folks like me have the chance of enjoying this too. Many thanks x

Morning @Dopaless i think this is a great thread. There are people on the forum who would love the chance to make new friends and need the help and confidence to get out there. I live in the Midlands and i know our Rotary Club do a lot around the community.
It would be good if you became an advocate  on the forum to help/advise people with an interest.
