LCWRA help

I need some help! I have recently won a tribunal for LCWRA (after the tribunal lasting a whopping 2mins and 19 secs and them telling me they couldnt understand how it had go to that stage). I first reported my change for my health condition on the 28th August 2021 I was not sure of the process and there was no guidance to suggest a fit note was needed at this point. I then contacted DWP on the 23rd September 2021 on my journal to ask the next stage in the process and was told I needed to hand in a fit note, so I went to my GP and requested one I was then sent this via email by my GP and I updated it as soon as received it on the 13th October 2021 but was back dated by the GP to the 28th August 2021 to cover the original date reported to DWP . Now its DWPs time to back date the money for this. I am being told they only owe me from the date the fit note was put in (13th October 2021) and not from the original date reporting my condition which was the 28th August 2021 (Fit not was back dateted to this date. I know there is the 13 week period to begin the process. Is this correct seems unfair its not being taken back to the August?

Because of the delay in the Fit Note they are likely to only go back to the later date. when you use Report a Change of Circumstances in your UC journal regarding health the question asks for details of a Fit Note and, if you haven’t, says you need to provide one within 7 days.

I didn't see the part of a fit note I was going through a horrible time with my mental health due to domestic abuse and was advised to apply so it went un noticed unfortunately.
