Hello @woodstar1984 it's positive to hear they have all the medical evidence to help process your claim.
'Dissallowance' is not something I've heard before I'm afraid, as I'm not an expert on the subject, so hopefully our members can share their thoughts. I've marked this post as unanswered to help with that.
A PA4 form is a consultation report form, I believe it's used by the assessors, as a summary, or report, of the assessment.0 -
It's means unsuccessful apparently so fed up with it all and my mental health all over the place0

A disallowance of what? Has the decision on your PIP been made?0
-
Yes

Have you had a decision letter @woodstar1984?0
-
So disallowed I would take as meaning you’ve been refused PIP. You can challenge that decision by requesting the Mandatory Reconsideration. (MR) Best thing to do is wait until you’ve received the decision letter and see what it says.0

Why are you so abrupt @poppy123456 I phoned pip to find out where my pip claim was and all medical evidence was received by them they went on to say that I have been disallowed then he stated that UC have sent them notes which I didn't think they could contact pip as it's separate0
-
I’m not sure why you think I’ve been abrupt here, I most certainly wasn’t. You asked a question and I answered it. I advised what you could do next. I’m not sure how else you would like me to answer you.2

I'm sure being abrupt is not Poppy's intention @woodstar1984, we can all understand how unsettling all this must feel, as you're not sure what's going on.
The best thing to do for now is to wait until you receive your decision letter. Whatever the outcome we'll be here to support you, and you can reach out for advice on your next steps, and challenge the decision if you wish to.

Waited six months what's point0

It can feel incredibly frustrating and upsetting @woodstar1984 but please know that you are not alone in this, and you can get support to challenge the decision if you've not been awarded PIP.
You can search Advice Local for professional advisers near you, or visit the Turn2Us website for advice and guidance on your options.
If you'd like to talk through the process you can contact the Scope Helpline or if you'd like some to support you and listen to you, then I'd encourage you to give Samaritans a call on 116 123. They can help you organise your thoughts and feelings so they feel less overwhelming. You don't need to be at crisis point to reach out and have a chat.
If you feel we can help further please ask, and we'll do what we can to help out.0 -
They told me over the phone that I was unsuccessful with the claim today and they would send it all in the post I need to ring up tomorrow for a Mr0

This has been going on since February 2022 pip.....and also trying to sort out wca via uc50 so yea I am finding it very difficult ATM0
-
@Biblioklept thanks again well after being diagnosed in February 2022 with EUPD personality disorder I made a claim to pip I got also got help with the form... They then sent a link to send everything evidence related I sent medical evidence to them and they flat out said on the phone that it's been unsuccessful.... I have also made a claim to wca UC50 which I'm waiting on an assessment for that as well what I don't understand is why would they contact pip for what ? And is it something to do with a UC claim I find this very confusing....0

Although PIP and LCW are 2 completely different benefits there are some similarities with the descriptors.Sometimes they contact PIP and/or UC for some information. Why exactly they did this for you I can’t tell you because I don’t know anything about your case. With regards to your PIP, give it a few days and post back, I’m sure someone will advise you further with the MR.0

I am finding it very difficult ATMOkay @woodstar1984 it takes a lot to say that we're struggling, so well done. I think it's very understandable with everything that's been happening, it's bound to have a negative impact on your mental health.
I've already mentioned Samaritans, who you can call on 116 123, but you can also text "SHOUT" to 85258 anytime for support, and there's the mental health charity Mind, their website has plenty of information and advice on how to look after your mental health.
If you feel we can offer additional support then please let us know, and be sure to contact Citizens Advice, Advice Local, or Turn2Us for practical help and support with your MR.1 -
@poppy123456 It's it because I am trying to claim both of them lcw and pip0
-
Also if that happens what does this mean for lcw regarding that0
-
woodstar1984 said:@poppy123456 It's it because I am trying to claim both of them lcw and pipNot really, lots of people claim both PIP and LCWRA. I'm afraid i can't tell you the reason why they contacted PIP.For the WCA most people have an assessment, which will either be by telephone, face to face or video call. The assessment process is similar to PIP but with different criteria. If an assessment is needed they will contact you but the waiting times can be longer than PIP.0

Thanks @poppy1234560
