Pip disallowance via phone call

Good afternoon everyone I have just got this letter saying they have all the information needed for my claim but when I called pip yesterday they said I been refused0
-
Letter would have been sent before the decision was made because it does take a while to receive letters from DWP. The date on the letter will tell you when it was sent.

Yea the 30th June is says on the letter they have all information they need and will contact me but as I put on forum.yesterday they refused me when I rang pip0
-
That's interesting @woodstar1984 thanks for updating us, personally I would pay more attention to the letter, and hopefully you'll hear more about a decision in due course. Keep us updated if you can.
Decisions can take anywhere between 2-12 weeks, so if you need to reach out for support, or just find ways to pass the time, the community is here for you0 -
The letter took a week to get to you so yes the decision was made before you received the letter. For this reason, please ignore the letter.

I will probably leave it for now and request an MR il wait till the post comes next week cause that letter has taken just under 8days0
-
If you requst the MR outside of the 1 month after the decision was made, please remember you'll need to give a reason why you requested it later than the month. You do have 13 months to request it but must give a reason for being late. If they refuse the reason then you simply proceed to Tribunal.

Apologies for the confusion @woodstar1984 if you need any help with a Mandatory Reconsideration then please do ask.
Have you managed to have a look at the information I linked earlier in the discussion? I would encourage you to give the Scope Helpline a call if you need to talk things through with one of our advisers.0 -
@poppy123456 I know your saw my post yesterday I've got to wait for pA4 report and decision letters via post then I can request a MR0
-
You don’t need the PA4, just the decision letter.0
-
@calcotti I've been asked to request it as I'm getting help with the Mr0
-

My first run in with that lot was back in 1986. Since then it's been a battle every year for one thing or another. I simply can't remember how many Tribunals I have been to.
Now I am too damn old to care.0 -
