hi everyone today I received a phone call from dwp informing me that I am due to receive a substantial amount of back payment as my claim has been successful but we're wanting to confirm with myself I was happy with that as I stated on my former my grandma and partner help oversea my money. Which I am totally impressed with at the end of the club they said I'd receive a award letter within the next 7 days. Had anyone else had this and did you receive the money beforehand? Tia

It's perfectly normal to receive payment in your bank before the decision letter arrives.

I was just wondering how long before the decision letter arrived did people receive money? X0

It varies how long it takes to receive the decision letter, sometimes it's a week and other times longer. Money goes into your bank 3-5 working days after it's been sent.
