Hello, I'm Tasha and I am a student at the University of Bristol and I am looking for people to help me with my MSc research project: Exploring the hospital experience of adults with learning disabilities and diabetes who stayed at least one night in a NHS general hospital in England during the Covid-19 pandemic during the period March 2019-March 2020

There are two ways you can take part-either to help me develop the topic guide and make sure the questions are accessible or to be interviewed. The meeting can be face-to-face or virtually, depending on people's preference and I will travel to the location, which will be in a public place, such as a quiet area of a cafe.

The findings will be used for my dissertation, and also to inform Diabetes UK, where I work as a health care professional as improving hospital care is one of our areas of work. I also work as a research assistant, supporting a gentleman with learning disabilities, at another University.

This project has ethical approval from the University of Bristol and a strict Covid-19 safety protocol will be followed for any face-to-face meeting.

Meetings will last no more than an hour and if people feel tired we will stop for a break. People are welcome to bring a supporter too.I hope to complete all meetings by mid August.

If you want to find out more I can be contacted at ef18878@bristol.ac.uk or on my research phone: 07787492287
I have developed information sheets and consent forms in Easy Read, and I  can provide audio information if preferred.

Please feel free to share with anybody you think maybe interested too.

Thank you.
