Pip review has come through. Award letter says her award ends next March. Is this normal?

My wife received a review form for her pip the other day requesting that she returns it by 12 the august looking back at her award I note that her award iends next march. My question is this normal or is it a mistake

Yes, it's perfectly normal. There are huge backlogs so it could be several months until a decisions made on her review. Any new decision will overrule her current award.If she needs extra time to return the form she can ring PIP and they will give her an couple of weeks.0

Thanks woodbine, I've got all her old forms and descripters plus a few discharge letters from hospital, so I'm optimistic of a good outcome0

We're managing quiet well at the moment, the only thing regarding the pip review was ,a week after sending her form in with original documents they sent us a reminder to say they haven't received any information. I was tempted to ring to check but I let it go. So I'm hoping it was just automated response.

That letter was automatically generated. It's not unusal for it to take a few weeks for your forms/evidence to be added to the computer and it's not classed as arriving until thus has happened. JUst for future reference, you should never send originals, only copies because they don't return any evidence.
