I'm going to a Doctor Who thing in Liverpool with my mum, two sisters and a few other family members.
My fiancé will be in work on that day, but he doesn't like doctor who!!
My fiancé usually gets home quicker on his bike than the bus, but it usually depends on the weather as he doesn't like riding his bike when it's wet as his brakes make a sort of high pitched squeeky sound when it's wet.

That sounds fun @BrianMcFaddenfan07 What kind of event is it?0
-
@Tori_Scope I'm not sure as I'd have to ask my middle sister as she paid for our tickets as she had a lil win on the bingo.0

Hi @BrianMcFaddenfan07,
I believe it’s in the World Museum, Liverpool.Have a great day, hopefully you’ll have time to look around the other floors in the museum, it’s one of my favourite places to visit, we had our family Christmas party there last year.0 -
Ooh, what a treat @BrianMcFaddenfan07 Well, you'll have to let us know how you find it!0
-
I will @Tori_Scope0

Who's your favourite Doctor @BrianMcFaddenfan07?0
-
@Tori_Scope the 10th Doctor aka David Tennant.
My mum like Peter Capaldi. My youngest sister and sister-in-law like the 13th Doctor.0 -
David Tennant was a good one @BrianMcFaddenfan07 I think he's a lot of people's favourite. I didn't watch many episodes with Jodi Whittaker as the Doctor to be honest. What did they like about her portrayal?
How do you feel about the casting of Ncuti Gatwa as the new Doctor?0 -
@Tori_Scope I've never heard of the person whose gonna be playing the doctor. My youngest sister loves Jodi as she got my sister-in-law into watching doctor who.
I liked Jodi as well as she was sort of like a female David Tennant.0 -
I think I only really know him from Sex Education, which is a show I quite enjoyed @BrianMcFaddenfan070

I met David Tennant when he was playing Hamlet, excellent actor and a lovely man.1

That's so cool @Karen7788 It's always nice to hear when someone's as nice in real life as they seem on screen.0

@Tori_Scope
My husband was never a big fan of Shakespeare, couldn’t get his head around it, but I persuaded him to go and watch Hamlet with me. He sat with his mouth open for the full play and was completely mesmerised by the whole thing, especially David Tennant, he was absolutely amazing. The staff at the theatre actually referred to him as “the doctor”0 -
@Karen7788 you are a very lucky woman.0
-
Ha, he's had so many other big roles, but he's still so well known for Doctor Who @Karen7788!
I can't say I've read/watched any Shakespeare since school to my recollection, but it would be cool to see it performed well live, I think.0 -
I think I’m lucky in love @BrianMcFaddenfan07, my hubby and family are lovely.
I’m sending some luck over the airwaves to you. 😊 Get ready to catch it.1 -
A few years ago @Tori_Scope I was going through a pretty awful time. To help me get through the days I enrolled in adult education courses in college and it was there that I developed my love of Shakespeare, it just took you to another world, I actually hated it at school, didn’t get it at all. My husband was gobsmacked, in a nice way, when we watched Hamlet.0
-
I think it's often taught quite badly in schools @Karen7788. I'm glad that enrolling in the college helped you to find that interest! Did it help your wellbeing overall?
