PIP appeal update

Hi everyone,
After 12 very long months I won my PIP appeal today. Went in with 7 daily living points and 4 mobility and came out with 9 and 14. The tribunal was hard, and I was asked lots of questions, but I was honest and made my case as best I could.
It feels so good to finally be listened to, and am still astounded that we should need to jump through so many hoops to claim a benefit we are entitled to. I really wish the system could be reformed as it's currently designed to put people off and not to help the vulnerable. I had to use all my strength to get through today, but I was determined to do that. In contrast, the DWP couldn't be bothered to turn up, not that I was expecting them to, but it just showed the lack of respect they have for the process.
My advice to others would be to stick with it, even when you feel like giving up. I have lost lots of sleep over this.  I am so relieved it's over. At least until 2025!
