Looking forward to receiving and passing on information and tips on how to live with B12 deficiency. I had my first 6 injections 6 weeks ago but still have some of my symptoms although less frequently. Does anyone know if taking a B12 nasal spray on top of the injections helps. My deficiency isn't diet related.

I've had this for several years and have continued to have the injections every 3 months. I find these alone do help. I have never used the nasal spray so can't advise on that.Although a few weeks before the injection is due i do start to experience more symptoms. Just a couple of hours after the injection i can definitely tell the diffence. I do have other conditions too which also affect me physically, so for me it's quite hard to differentiate between all my conditions.0

Hi Ladyann. Like yourself I have only recently joined this forum and not exactly sure what the usual accepted messaging system is...anyway in answer to your post I have had a B12 problem for a couple of years now. Mine was discovered during my Ataxia (loss of balance) difficulties which seem to be more common than most people are aware of. I am on a 2 monthly period of injection (reduced from 3 monthly) as this helped the lasting effect.
It is of course very important to remember that we are all very individual when it comes to prescribed medication..... the dosage no doubt depends on how much your body needs to help adjust its needs. I am sure that your medical professional will be monitoring you carefully. I have to say that my medical knowledge is limited to using an elastoplast and I don't usually get that right.....
Anway, just keep your Dr or appropriate clinician informed and also be aware that many many folk are ready to help.

Hi Poppy, I suppose you are probably more stable than me depending on your need for the B12. My problem and general state of health is no doubt the reason for my change of timing.
Hope it all gets sorted for you.
Just wondering if you could just help me with something Poppy..... as a new member on here I am still struggling to find my way around the site. I have just noticed that my user name of Lawnfinder85. Is missing the letter i .... no doubt due to my mistyping it when I joined I just can't see to find a way to contact an administrator to get it altered, it can't be done on the info I have managed to find. 🤔 Your help would really be appreciated.
From Lawnfinder85... alias Lawnfnder85 (I reckon you have spotted where the 85 came from)

Morning @Ladyann
I have amended the title of your original post so it is more visible to other community members
and morning @Lawnfinder85i - I will make sure your user name is correctly recorded. I cant promise it will be done today because it might be outside my area of expertise !0 -
Thank you ladies, I appreciate your help. I suppose some folk might think that 85 could be my year of birth, but 1937 is quite a way off unless they are thinking of 1885.
Thanks again Sue. .... I'm sure you will do your best to get things altered but it really isn't a serious problem I will just log on with whatever is on my joining info. I'll leave it up to your expertise.
You both take care now.. From Lawn..(something or other)🤗0 -
Just to confirm @lawnfinder85, I have changed your username. Let me know if it's okay with you now
