    Good morning @Wibbles
I'm so pleased that things are a bit better this morning. You must feel that you're walking on egg shells all the time.  When you have a moment have a look at the link from citizens advice that elizabeth01 sent.   I'm also going to send you a  private message just to check in with you,  if that's ok.  If you see something in your inbox from the community advice team that will be it!
    Take care
    Sue

I'm really glad things are sorted however I think this is the 2nd time you have posted something similar

I think you really need to talk things through with each other when you are both ready to avoid a repeat occurance

I know you have tried for care needs assessment and are being refused have you taken this up with your local mp at all

I think your wife would benefit from some support with caring for you . If you can afford to pay for care it may be worth looking into even if its just a few hours

Absolutely nothing heard from my council re my applied for care needs assessment
So - I have just emailed them - telling them that "since they appear incapable, to forget the whole thing" - and see what happens

Have you contacted your local mp as advised

I know your frustrated but try and stay polite and rather than say you are giving in explain the strain the care is putting on you and your wife and your relationship

Can your gp refer you this sometimes has more impact

I totally empathise with the battles us disabled people have to go through to get what we need but persevere

If we can do anything to support you @Wibbles please don't hesitate to let us know. I hear that things are tough for you at the moment, especially with services being less than willing to help. We are all here for you. Please feel free to let us know how things go!  :)
