Afternoon @AnastasiaJane1972
Wishing you a warm welcome to the community, it's lovely to see you join us. I have moved your thread over to our PIP category and edited the title so that other members know what your thread is about roughly
Sorry to hear that your claim wasn't successful, I understand that it can feel really disheartening, especially when you've undoubtedly put so much time and effort into it and waited a while too.
If you do believe you should be entitled, I would encourage you to fight on, but of course it's important to only do so if you feel up to it. Have you given any thought as to whether you will request a MR?
This is a very supportive and welcoming site to be a part of so I’m hopeful that you’ll find it to be a positive outlet. Feel free to have a look around and get involved wherever you’d like 😊 I have included below a few of the pages I’d recommend having a look through to get used to things:- The virtual coffee lounge which is one of our categories, in which we play games and talk about general subjects such as hobbies and interests
- The recent discussions page, which shows an overview of everything happening across the community
- The categories page, which shows a full list of discussion groups on the community
If you have any questions at all then don’t hesitate to ask.

Good afternoon @AnastasiaJane1972 from me too
First of all welcome to the online community and I'm sorry that your first post was about something that has clearly upset you so deeply. However it is great you're on board and you will soon discover that we are a very supportive and welcoming community.
You can challenge the DWP's decision and you can do this by requesting a mandatory reconsideration and this link gives more information about how to do this.
You must do this within 1 month of receiving the DWP's decision. Late appeals are allowed provided you give a reason for it being late. There is a longstop date of 13 months after which you cannot request a mandatory reconsideration. You must explain exactly why you feel you are entitled to PIP. I know you will have ready have explained this in your PIP form but you should use the mandatory reconsideration as an opportunity to give as much information about your conditions and how they impact on your daily living and mobility activities. You need to spell everything out as the DWP will not assume anything. Give real life every day examples of how you struggle to carry out the PIP activities.
Now that you have joined the community do spend some time to have a look around and if you would like to join in some friendly discussions and chats in the coffee lounge. You may also be interested in various discussions in our Categories section particularly in relation to PIP and you will see that many people who get turned down for PIP eventually achieve a successful outcome.

Thank you.
I will keep you updated.0 -
If you haven't already explored how PIP is assessed and scored it is worth looking at this so that you can see what points you believe you should qualify for for.
