In your bank on the 16th. I'm very surprised you received the decision letter before payment, usually it's the other way round.

If it's a review no, they don't send texts. If it's a first time claim then sometimes they send texts if awarded but not always. I'm not aware of them sending texts if there's a refusal. Not receiving a text doesn't mean you haven't been awarded.

what does it mean I've been awarded pip also how long does it take for me to receive my back pay

So a text is saying I've been rewarded, so my forms go.back like 1year 4months does awarded mean I've got pip
If so how long would it take for me to receive my back payment as they keep giving me the same automated message
HELP SOMEONE PLEASE 🙏0 -

HELP SOMEONE PLEASE 🙏It means exactly what the text says "you've been awarded PIP" any money owed will be paid into your bank 3-5 working days after payment was made. The decision letter can take up to 2 weeks. If you want to know what you've been awarded and when to expect payment then you'll need to ring PIP tomorrow when the open.1 year and 4 months is an extremely long time to be waiting for a decision. Was this a first time claim? or did you claim before and were refused?0 -
First time claiming0

I get. That poppy123456
What I'm. Asking is should my backpay start coming through now even though the text says that I'll receive a letter to confirm what award I have or will I receive my back pay after the letter0 -

As i advised, money owed will be paid into your bank 3-5 working days after payment was sent. The decision letter will follow after that, which can take up to a couple of weeks as the text advised.

So poppy123456 if its saying awarded does this mean then would of already sent my back pay as I said I don't no if they have sent me a payment all it states is that I've been awarded so your saying that means that they would of sent me the back payment then I'm just asking for advice poppy123456 that's all0

Sometimes payment is made once the decision is made but not always. As advised, if you want to know when to expect the money into your bank then you'll need to ring PIP to ask because they are the only ones that can tell you the answer.Personal Independence Payment (PIP)
