Hi everyone,
My name is Bobby, I'm 27, I've had CP since birth on my right side known as hemiplegia. I just want to find people who have common interests with me 🙂.
Thanks.

Hi @Bobby_lawler1 welcome to the forum.
What interests do you have?
We have lots of conversations that you might find intresting to join in with. There are also games to join in with also, mainly in coffee lounge under categories.0 -
Hello @Bobby_lawler1 and welcome to the online community, how are you this morning?
This is a very supportive and welcoming site to be a part of so I’m hopeful that you’ll find it to be a positive outlet. Feel free to have a look around and get involved wherever you’d like 😊 I have included below a few of the pages I’d recommend having a look through to get used to things:
- The virtual coffee lounge which is one of our categories, in which we play games and talk about general subjects such as hobbies and interests
- The recent discussions page, which shows an overview of everything happening across the community
- The categories page, which shows a full list of discussion groups on the community
If you have any questions at all then don’t hesitate to ask.
How are you managing with your CP? Do you feel as though you have enough support in place, should you need it, from a GP or specialist?

How does everyone deal with fatigue on a day to day basis without feeling shattered or drinking gallons of coffee?0

Nice to meet you too @Bobby_lawler1. Glad you are ok.
It sounds difficult that your energy levels are low though. What usually helps you when you are low on energy?
For me, I think it is about allowing myself to rest. However, I know you were hoping for some different tips. Hopefully, someone else will be able to provide you with other tips0 -
Thanks for your question @Bobby_lawler1 Resting is sometimes the only thing that will help! It's that or having a warm bath, sometimes with Epsom salts, which I find can relieve some of the pain and tiredness
I also find that giving my mind time and space to relax, by doing something I enjoy with no pressures or worries, helps to distract me from the feelings and sensations of fatigue, if even for a short time.
Obviously everyone is different, so it's a case of finding what works for you individually, but I hope that's helpful for you.0
