DWP say they need to contact my about a change in circumstances, but I've had no change
I have recently received notification via text message from the DWP to call them in regards a recent change in circumstances. However, I have had no change still at same address and disabled/ill. They have said via the phone that they have had a letter from them addressed to me returned with the returned letter. This makes no sense. They have more than halved my entitlement via letter today with no explanation. I will not be able to survive pay electricity bills etc. I'm severely disabled and suffer from chronic pain. They are supposed to phone me back as I'm a vulnerable person/disabled but no call back received. Only reason they have given me is a mysterious letter not being delivered and returned to DWP. My normal postman has had Covid (off sick) if there is a breakdown with the security entrance system that the postman and other tenants use, he would deliver to my disabled access entrance which is only accessible to me.

You will need to ring them again. I'm sorry i can't help but without more information, it would only be a guess as to what exactly has happened.

Welcome to the community @bdavis
That sounds like a really distressing situation! I'm not sure what's happened. Do you feel able to give them a call tomorrow, if they don't get back in touch with you?
