Does anyone know where I can buy odd sized shoes (left 10 - right 8) to accomodate a leg brace foot plate ?
They need to be easy to get on and robust
Thanks

Hi @Wibbles
Great question.
Can you not get odd shoes from any regular shoe shop if you explained the situation to them? Is that something you've tried?0 -
@Ross_Scope
They also need to be different widths
The left (KAFO) needs to be wide but the right - normalI tried sports direct but they didn't want to know - telling me that I had to pay for 2 full pairs. They must also be velcro closure0 -
@Wibbles there is group on face book called Jo's odd shoes it is charity
They supply odd shoes and all you pay is postage about 5 quid for bag of shoes you pick the ones you want
They are all donated from suppliers and other members like me I donate single shoe with only having one leg but they do odd pairs too
Also Clarkes do scheme where they charge half price for the second pair for those needing odd sizes0 -

Yes the shoes are new with Jo's odd shoes I've had some amazing shoes and boots from them designer labels as well0

I guess that they would be left with odd pairs and couldn't get rid of them0 -
I hear your frustrations @Wibbles. Since being a child, I have had one foot half a size bigger than the other foot.
The only thing I have been recommended is to go for the bigger size and wear a shoe insole for the other. Does this help at all?
Please don't hesitate to let us know if we can do anything to help. We are all here for you0 -
That's a shame they not taking new members sorry I don't know anywhere else.0

Thanks for continuing to share your tips. Hopefully @Wibbles will be able to find something suitable1
