Good news! If your ESA is Income related and you don’t live with any other adults, unless they claim a qualifying disability benefit or are registered blind you will be entitled to the Severe Disability Premium.0

I am in support group ..I will have a look at my entitlement I am useless at all remembering things ..and I'm dyslexic ..0

I'm glad to read that you're finding the community supportive @tracie4347 and I'm sure you're not useless at remembering things, with so many things to take in and process each day it's no surprise that some bits of information fall out!
Let us know if there's anything further we can help with0 -
Hi all ..poppy after a 1 hour 40 min telephone ☎️ call to esa ..they have told me I may be entitled to the severe disability premium thanks for that poppy ..the lady filled the form in over the phone and informed me of what to expect .
I am crying my heart out here the thought I can now get a carer and all the help I need..the stress over the process of pip and esa ..is at least put to bed for a few years..thanks all I wish everyone good fortune on this road that can be very draining on your mental health as well as your Already bad health .. stay positive and keep talking on scope that has helped me so so much ..1 -
That's wonderful to hear @tracie4347 it really makes a huge difference when we get the right help and support
Keep us up to date with how you get on when you can, and please ask if anything else comes up that you need a hand with.0 -
Does anyone live with you? Also please remember that if you're entitled to SDP then you must make sure that no one claims either carers allowance or carers element of Universal Credit for looking after you because this will end the SDP.If entitled then your SDP will be paid from when your PIP award starts.1
