Hi All,
I have just started in a new role at our hospitals as the Disability Advisor. i have long term conditions and mobility problems and I also chair the Staff Network called ThisAbility.
I am hoping to get lots of information and guidance so that I can support my colleagues with Disabilities and long term health conditions at work to enable them to thrive in the workplace.

Hi @UHDBsharon10 welcome I see you've already asked a question and the best answer I can give, is to talk to your colleagues and see what their needs are, as they will all have different needs, then you can support them. This may be equipment like chairs to sit on that gives them support, sensory needs like flashing lights when a fire alarm goes off. Extra breaks if needed. It covers a whole range. If you talk to each individual they will know what they need. Lots of success in your new role.0
