@milky9306 Thank you for your support. It is overwhelming especially when multiple physical and mental health including cognitive limitations. I use voice to text for PC but can't manage this on a mobile phone to UC system. I was in bed with Covid for a week over the last fortnight and still recovering. Yet the case manager would not call me despite telling her this. I said that they need to investigate why they seem to have lost my reports of fit notes and those sent to the JC plus the DWP guidance states on page 3 of the guidance for MR:
. "Before you challenge the decisionBefore you challenge a decision, it’s always worth asking us to explain it. You can call the number at the top of your decision letter and ask for the decision to be explained to you. This can be much quicker and if we find a mistake, we will look at our decision again."
The guide is available via this link.
The level of service and mistakes that DWP staff made during the first 9 months of covid is certainly my experience and from so many from a variety of forums. My friend works for a section of the DWP and said that staff were reallocated from all areas of Civil Service and did not have adequate training or knowledge to provide the right advice. I have a number of my workcoach journal entries asking me to hold on to fit notes and not send them in as they didn't know what to do with them or that the JC was closed.  ESA staff during this time could not advise me adequately or I

I don't recall the function, Report a Fit Note being automated in the ToDo section during 2020, do you recall when it went live? I certainly had about 3 occassions during the last few years where I recieved this task and my fit note was still valid for weeks and sometimes over a month so I think this was the issue where I wasn't able to report them using this function as during that time, the Report a Fit note was only available under the Report a Change of Circumstances menu and I was told not to use that as my conditions had not changed.
There are other cases on forums of DM's allowing the full arrears in these cases.
