Hi, my name is briankeys! Do I still need to provide a fit note if I receive LCWRA?

No. Once a decision is made there is no further need.

    Morning @SueHeath
If you have been found LCWRA (Support Group) that is correct. No further fit notes are needed and you’ll get an extra allowance on top of your entitlement. You’ll automatically be placed in this group and won’t be expected to look for work.

Welcome to the community @briankeys :) Thanks for joining us!

I hope that bg844's reply has helped to clear that up for you. Have you been awarded LCWRA, or are you going through the process at the moment?

Just to let you know, I've moved your post into our category for discussions relating to Unviersal Credit, and have tweaked the title a little to make it easier for other members to find your post.

It's not about "joining the support group." There's nothing to join, LCWRA is the same as the Support Group for ESA. When you're placed into this group you have no appointments to attend and don't have to look for work. They basically leave you alone.

No idea why because there’s no support at all, infact it’s the other way round lol
