Collectively, we have good knowledge of disability discrimination mainly failure to make reasonable adjustments. Is there anything you would like to know in particular?

Hello @Ant1no_dec
Wishing you a warm welcome to the online community
Thanks for making your first post. Have you had challenges in this area recently? Scope have an information page relating to this subject, which you can read here. Hopefully it can be of use to youThis is a very supportive and welcoming site to be a part of so I’m hopeful that you’ll find it to be a positive outlet. Feel free to have a look around and get involved wherever you’d like 😊 I have included below a few of the pages I’d recommend having a look through to get used to things:
- The virtual coffee lounge which is one of our categories, in which we play games and talk about general subjects such as hobbies and interests
- The recent discussions page, which shows an overview of everything happening across the community
- The categories page, which shows a full list of discussion groups on the community
If you have any questions at all then don’t hesitate to ask.

Hi All, sorry if I didn't reply since I open my account my laptop been on the blink.
The reason I join this community was the lack of support or failure to put reasonable adjustments in place at work. Although I've been assessed and even been accepted by Access to work grant only for employer not to purchase the said equipment.0 -
there there are some good temples for failure to provide on equality advisory service.com1

Hi @Ant1no_dec. Oh no, what a nightmare that your laptop has been on the blink. Please don't apologise though, the most important thing is that you feel able to reach out to us if you wish to.
I can hear that things are difficult for you at work at the moment. I sense that this is particularly because your employer has not purchased the said equipment.
Have you been able to talk to your employer about when they might purchase the said equipment? I can hear this might help things to feel more manageable for you.
If your employer informs you that they don't intend to purchase the equipment, you can escalate your concerns.
Would anything else, in particular, help this to feel more manageable for you at the moment?
If we can do anything to support you further please don't hesitate to let us know. We are all here for you and listening to you0 -
Just to clarify for everyone, jackiej47 was recommending the Equality Advisory Support Service (EASS). The helpline advises and assists individuals on issues relating to equality and human rights, across England, Scotland and Wales1
