hello everybody, I'm Paul I know I'm probably in the wrong category or area. I'm just looking for a little advise, perhaps someone else has encountered a similar issue. I've been off work for nearly five years I have severe anxiety for which I'm medicated daily and I've been on anti depressants over 20 years for moderate depression I have several physical health problems but nothing like as bad as people on here just things like hypothyroidism, sleep apnoea, costochondritis etc. After my first wca assessment they put me on lcw for 3 years, it was upgraded to lcwra nearly two years ago. I'm worried that assessment will be soon. My O.T suggested I apply for pip and two months ago I was awarded just low rate mobility for six years, I didn't challenge it because the award said I could lose everything and as it was my first time I was to afraid to challenge it. now my issue is last week I was finally diagnosed as autistic, I've only had the conformation over the phone and I am awaiting a formal letter and some kind of information pack. It finally explains the decades of chronic anxiety. My question is do I ?, should I notify my universal credit. If so how and when because at the moment they leave me alone and I don't want to mess that up. I am an amateur at stuff like this so any advice is appreciated . I cant lose that lcwra because that covers my gas and electricity which will be more than two hundred and fifty pounds come January and i have zero savings because I'm useless with money.

You do not need to report anything to UC because you’ve already been found to have LCWRA and you can’t have a higher award than this. When it’s time for your review you will receive a letter on your journal telling you they are referring you for the work capability assessment.
For your PIP if you disagree with the decision you can request the mandatory reconsideration (MR) you will need to give your reasons why you didn’t request it with the first month. Most MR decisions remain the same so it’s unlikely you will lose any award you already have.1 -
I answered your question on your other thread here https://forum.scope.org.uk/discussion/95380/universal-credit#latest1

Hi please don't worry you can tell them about the diagnosis at LCWRA review they're Backlogged and you're paid until review so yes leave it be until then to explain your needs/diagnosis :-) x1
