i read about the eligibility criteria basically this is my situation: full time student (starting soon), carer, disabled , get PIP & DSA
i read i cant get UC if im disabled and in full time education unless i have limited capability for work before i start my course? is that right?
i do have limited capability for work definetly because of my health conditions and full time education and a lot of caring responsilities. but how can i prove that i have lcfw?? apparently i should prove lcfw before the start of my course which is very worrying for me because theres not much time.
ive done what i know i can do which is apply online and made an account and finished the application im just waiting for the appointment.
do i have enough time

Yes, you read correctly but you need to be assessed by DWP as having LCW and this can potentially take several months because an assessment will be needed. If you're a Uni student then they are about to return for start of term so you won't be assessed within this time. When you start as full time student you need to report the changes and your UC will very likely end.If you're claiming carers allowance because you're a carer then as a full time student you won't be able to continue with your carers allowance. https://www.gov.uk/carers-allowance/eligibilityHave you looked at claiming a student loan?

@poppy123456 hi thank you so much for your comment it was really helpful. i just have a question: how can i book an assessment? should i just write in my journal if i can have an assessment or is there a way i dont know about ? thanks0

You can’t book an assessment. When you claim UC you report a health condition supported by a fit note within 7 days.
A work coach then refers you for a work capability assessment usually around 29 days. You will then be sent the UC50 form to fill in and return with all your evidence. There’s just not enough of time to complete this and have a decision before you start as a full time student. Is it Uni you will be attending?1
