What's your idea of a perfect Sunday afternoon?

Going for a spirited drive on the quiet country roads, then coming home for a beer and a browse of the internet, then settling down and watching something funny on YouTube.0
-
A nice Sunday roast then clead up and chill on sofa watching f10

My perfect Sunday afternoon is being with all my family, my sons, their partners, my sisters and their families, Mum and my brother and last but not least my lovely husband. Doesn’t matter what we do, but we always have a lovely time acting like kids.0
-
Doing absolutely nothing0
-
A wet Sunday afternoon, big floppy jumper, a hot bacon sandwich whilst watching an old movie, especially in the autumn 🍂0
-
These all sound lovely
Do you have any funny video recommendation @66mustang?
Do you take yours with brown or red sauce @leecal?0 -
@Tori_Scope I am currently enjoying "8 Out of 10 Cats Does Countdown" but it's a bit rude and may not be to everyone's taste.0

@Tori_Scope me too
I actually quite like the Countdown game but the regular show is a bit stuffy, it's quite fun to interject it with jokes and fooling around0 -
Yes, definitely @66Mustang
I like the game too, but it does add some light relief to have jokes in between. Do you prefer the numbers or letters round?
0 -
@Tori_Scope I think I prefer the numbers, but I find I will either "see" the answer immediately, or I won't get it at all.
Which do you prefer?0 -
I prefer the letters, but agree it's really satisfying when you're able to see the numbers answer right away @66Mustang! My dad and I enjoy doing the ad break anagram on the 8 out 10 Cats version.0
-
No @Tori_Scope, I don’t use sauce much, I like to taste the bacon as it is.0
-
That's fair enough @leecal! I like a bit of Ketchup on mine. HP Sauce for sausage sandwiches, though.1

Hi @66Mustang,
We watched 8 out of 10 cats does countdown live in Manchester as it was being filmed a couple of years ago. Sean Lock was amazing, we laughed so much that I had to try and think of something else to distract, my stomach was hurting so much with laughing.
They had cut lots of it out when it was shown on TV, it was the one with Sean Lock talking about his album, he was an absolute genius.0 -
@Karen7788 that sounds like a great experience!! I will have to try to find that episode and watch it, I'm going to see if it's on YouTube, even if they just have a snippet from the episode.0

@66Mustang
In the studio he was talking about the “album” and also trying to sing for about 20 minutes, they cut loads off for the TV but it was still hilarious, the rest of the panel was in stitches.
Another thing that surprised me was how perfect Jimmy Carr looks in real life, he doesn’t seem real, he was really down to earth and friendly though.0 -
FIFA 22 online, a beer and then a takeaway after. Chinese or pizza while watching a movie.

That sounds lovely @life
What's your beer of choice?

@Karen7788 yes they say he's like a robot or a puppet or something lol. I think maybe he's down to earth because he has had a few issues, I remember him saying he had an early mid life crisis his mid 20s.0
