Oh I hear you @66Mustang! When I need comfort, I'm either "I'll eat it all please" or "I'm not hungry at all"  :)

@oldngrumpy My comfort food is Chips. I also really like a cup of tea and chocolate cake 😊

Chicken curry or beef stew 😋 especially if it’s a bit nippy out.

Something potato-based for sure, like crisps, chips, hashbrowns etc. Though does it count as comfort food if you eat those things most days? :D

I love curry, rice and chips but they don't do it down south! I use
for home curry sauce. It's delicious! Easy to use.

Cheese is good to have in the fridge @Oddball so handy for quick foods i find, thats if you like cheese of course.
I love beans on toast with grated cheese and black pepper but alas it doesn't like me it causes IBS but its nice to sniff or suffer the cause.
I am loving the idea of different types of dumplings, think that will be my mission now, so handy as well to have in the freezer, if they are as good as the fresh ones of course.

I am sure that this is rice which my family cooks in this rice cooker eat with the meat! But I also like some sweets - cannot imagine my life without raspberry jam  :)
