I was listening to the radio earlier this morning, and they had a celebrity chef talking about Comfort Foods.

Mine is very basic, and very simple...
Weetabix and Rice Krispies in milk, let it all go soggy.
Oh heavenly0 -
Chocolate for me too.1

Sweets. Something chewy like Fruit Gums to occupy the brain.

Curry and chips from Chinese made into sandwiches with butter dropping out3
-
Beef stew and dumplings0

Oh I hear you @66Mustang! When I need comfort, I'm either "I'll eat it all please" or "I'm not hungry at all"

Beans and toast with loads off butter infact I even put a knob of butter in the beans while cooking then I top it off with grated cheese and just to finish my comfort meal off I make a large mug of tea.
Beans needs to heinz for me.1 -
Chicken curry or beef stew 😋 especially if it’s a bit nippy out.0
-
Hash browns with chilli and garlic mayo as dips lol0

Something potato-based for sure, like crisps, chips, hashbrowns etc. Though does it count as comfort food if you eat those things most days?

Cheese is good to have in the fridge @Oddball so handy for quick foods i find, thats if you like cheese of course.
I love beans on toast with grated cheese and black pepper but alas it doesn't like me it causes IBS but its nice to sniff or suffer the cause.
I am loving the idea of different types of dumplings, think that will be my mission now, so handy as well to have in the freezer, if they are as good as the fresh ones of course.1 -
I am sure that this is rice which my family cooks in this rice cooker eat with the meat! But I also like some sweets - cannot imagine my life without raspberry jam
