Hiya the lovely scope community 🙂 Do you already or is it possible to start a quiz night up via zoom/Skype or other similar platforms.. I do remember in the second lockdown people did this but I wouldn’t have a clue how to set this up.

When you sign up for Zoom you schedule in the date and time you want to go live and it’ll ask you to give other peoples emails. This is from memory in the second lockdown too so it might of changed but it’ll be easy to do once signed up.

    Hi @Phillfroggy :)

Do you mean a quiz night with members of the community, or with a different group of people?

There are plenty of online guides for setting up calls on platforms like Zoom. My friends and I opted to use Google Meet a good deal of the time, as that was a bit easier for us.

@and15 I'm sure we'd all enjoy quiz nights more if it was on stuff we know  :D

I suppose that's the beauty of a team, everyone has different strengths.

@Jasper10 I'm sure there are other ways to quiz online yes, like Google Meet as Tori suggested. I once took part in a series of online quizzes during lockdown, where each person joined the quiz separately, but at the same time of day, and each question was timed!

This was quite stressful and not the most accessible, as I couldn't always finish reading the question quickly, and was left with 3 seconds to answer.

Do you think a quiz for the online community would be a good thing? How do you think it should be set up?

Sorry I haven’t replied to anyone as not had the best few days … hot a stupid viral infection and it brought mood down and my depression veered it’s ugly head 👿….. but I’m starting to feel better … @Tori_Scope yea I the scope community…and online via some kind of video or audio app/site … im not to clued up but have been looking at social platforms that are free and allow people to get together via the internet. It’s quite daunting as it’s all tech speaking and I have enough trouble understanding normal things lol
