Firstly Hi im Chelsey 👋🏻 I'm new here and hoping someone can help , I applied for PIP on the 25th of July 2022 , I filled out the application online and submitted all relevant documents I could find , I have 10 months worth of sick notes and this leads upto January 2023 , I have Phycosis, Depression and anxiety in June 2022 I was put on a psychiatric ward for a few days then sent home with medication because of my Phycosis I tried to take my own life 4 times and now have to have my medication locked away , I cant leave the house neither I'm under Early Intervention Phycosis team for the next 3 years , I'm not sure why but I received text today from PIP stating they had all the information they needed and now I have to wait 8 weeks for decision... what I don't get is I haven't had any assessments like other people have to have got there PIP claim does this mean I've been refused already? I also get ESA and have a medical phone call with them on 28th September to see if I get The LWRCA entitlement, my support worker and doctor has said will be a very long time until even think about starting work again , so I should think I will also get LWRCA to?

Welcome to the community @chelskii Thanks for joining us, and for telling us about your situation.
I've sent you an email from community@scope.org.uk to see if we can support you, so please do keep an eye out for that and reply when you can.
I can see that calcotti has reassured you about your PIP claim. I hope that you're not left waiting too long for a decision.I also get ESA and have a medical phone call with them on 28th September to see if I get The LWRCA entitlement, my support worker and doctor has said will be a very long time until even think about starting work again , so I should think I will also get LWRCA to?Is it definitely ESA you claim, or do you claim Universal Credit?

Hi guys so just a update I had PIP assessment letter threw 2 days, I worked out points and should mean I will be awarded enhanced for both as scored 12 on both , I also had ESA medical phone call it only lasted 19 minutes but made me feel really uncomfortable having to explain why I hear voices in my head are they male or female and how the TV talks to me , by the end of the phone call she said she had enough information and that I should get the LWRCA Element so that was a huge relief.....now its just the massive waiting game it will be 2 weeks Wednesday since I received the we have the written assessment text so hopefully not much longer to go now xx0
