Yes you can report a change of circumstances but if you do this you will be sent more forms to fill in and another assessment is most likely. There is of course a risk to your current award too because the decision could either stay the same, be awarded a higher rate, or your PIP could stop completely.
A worsening of condition doesn't mean you could score more points for a higher award either. Before you do anything else you need to get some expert advice from an agency near you. https://advicelocal.uk/

I would appreciate it if members wouldn't tag me please. I have all notifcations turned off and wouldn't want a member thinking i'm being rude by not replying.
If i see a question that i know the answer to i will try my best to help.

Hi @mbrown - & welcome to the community. You'd be well advised to get some specialist help, see: https://advicelocal.uk/  & chose 'welfare benefits' from the drop down menu, before putting in for a change of circumstances, which would mean completing a new claim form & going through another assessment.
You do not need to contact PIP unless a change of circumstances might mean additional points would be added that may increase your PIP award.

Complete our feedback form and tell us how we can make the community better.
