Hello Everyone!
So today I have some amazing news!!!
Got a call this morning letting me know I was successful with a bid I placed on a Bungalow!!!
It's taken a total of 14 weeks of bidding but it has been worth it, It's a lovely Bungalow in an amazing area with large private front and back gardens, lots of room inside and will have a wet room fitted!
It will take a few months for it to be adapted with wet room etc but it's definitely ours!! I am over the moon with joy!
My partner is already excited for all the things he's going to do with the gardens and I'm excited that I will be able to leave my home safely(Currently live in a flat with a lot of steps).
I've already met the neighbours and they were so lovely and welcoming!
I honestly didn't think it would happen so quickly or find such an amazing Bungalow in a perfect area it is going to be truly life changing for me!

That's amazing news @Luchia I'm so pleased for you and your partner, and this next chapter of your lives!
Let us know how the move goes and I hope you can carve out some time to rest and relax between all the excitement0 -
Thank You!!!!
I honestly didn’t think we would get an offer after only 15 weeks, we have been to see the Bungalow and it’s in a lovely area which is mainly elderly(I’m only in my 30s) lovely large private gardens at the front and back and the bungalow itself is a very generous size!
So excited for when the adaptions are done so we can move in1 -
That's wonderful, I can hear how excited you are
And how lucky to have gardens too, what sorts of plans do you both have for them?0 -

Partner will be doing the work but I’ll be helping with drawing up the plans.2 -
How exciting @luchia! Your garden plans sound wonderful. I'm sure it'll be a lovely haven for you both, especially in the spring and summer months
We have some keen gardeners here on the community, so I'm sure they can lend you some green-fingered tips and tricks.0 -
That's really good news, good luck in your new home0

Just wanted to post a quick update, I should have the keys very soon!!! All the paperwork is ready and they have just finished decorating it all and fitting a new kitchen, With some luck I’ll get the keys in the next week or two!5

All moved in!!!!
The Bungalow is huge so it’s taken a bit of getting used to but very happy with it, the area is perfect, neighbours are so lovely and friendly, it’s been well worth all the stress of moving home!!2 -
Well chuffed for you, I know exactly how your feeling as we moved to our forever home last year.
Our house is classed as adaptable living and it takes a weight of our minds for when we get older or my health gets worse.
Enjoy your new house and I wish you many years of happiness 🏠0 -

Awesome @Luchia Having friendly neighbours is a good bonus!
Have you got any decorations to put up to make it feel more homely?0
