OT Assessment from Council

I have been told by my hospital Physio that I urgently need a OT assessment.
I live a mile inside the borders of a county, previously living in the next door county - where my GP surgery is located
I have been told by the OT team that since I no longer live within the original county - they can no longer help me
The new county OT team - have told me that since my GP surgery is in the old county - they are also unable to help me
The GP surgery is much MUCH better than any, available in my new county - so I will be staying with them - but I would have thought that Medical services should not be limited by county (especially when I am only a mile outside the borders
So - its going to be yet another fight to achieve my rights
I AM UP FOR IT !
