No one helps

I need to move now. Cant get help. Trapped in misery and loneliness. Why can't i get help i need? I never asked to be disabled. Now I'm stuck where I don't want to be with the solution some 100 miles away. No one seems to be able to help. Seems I'm not allowed to say how I feel. Everything is out of my hands. Will someone please help. Practical solutions not obvious advice would be nice for a change. Please don't say speak to my doctor they can't help.

Have you looked at private landlords in the area you're wanting to move to? I know in your other thread you said you don't have the money but as i advised in that thread, if you're claiming for help with the rent then you can apply for a DHP from your Local Authority for help with moving costs.

Do you mean literally, if only you can reach a place you know, (which is a distance of about 100 miles, therefore an expensive journey) then your difficulties will be solved? 

In that case, it is a matter of taking control and planning how to save up the fare.  (And very carefully plotting how you will take the next move, once you take the initiative and arrive!)

Disabled people versus beaurocracy is a never ending war, you are not alone! (And, it must be worldwide, because an American president remarked that the most terrifying words in the English language are these:  "We're from the government, and we're here to help"!!) 

Or are you talking about being emotional, and your complaint is that people don't like to listen to your complaints, and don't find your emotions interesting?

In that case, the solution is also within your own control.

However long and difficult the solutions are, it will certainly help you to have a plan which is in your control.  When you know you are helping yourself, even an inch at a time, you don't need to care about other people helping you. You can look forward to being the one giving help, not asking.

Unfortunately these things are not in my control. It's not about fares or saving. It's about needing to move permanently. Also its not about complaints. Find people in authority who could help deflect the issue and build more barriers to any solution

This has nothing to do with rent or my local authority. It's solely about moving to a different area of the UK. Everything is so complicated.  I've been on homeswapper for months. The situation is desperate now. Àll I receive is poor advice or disdain. There is nowhere that can provide the practical help I need?.

There is no help. Just disappointment. Going to be stuck forever in this stupid wheelchair. One simple move and things change. Never gonna happen though

It’s never easy to move from one part of the country to the other. I know because I’ve done it twice and now it’s just even more difficult.
I know you asked for practical solutions but we can’t give you those without knowing what you’re looking for. You’ve been advised to try looking for private landlord and house exchange but you’ve dismissed those… so I have no idea what else to suggest.

I most certainly did not dismiss anything. Im in a wheelchair so that means options are even more limited. As for a house exchange I did say I am trying. It seems because I'm disabled landlords require six months rent in advance. So please don't presume I am doing nothing to help myself.

I don’t think the 6 months rent In advance has anything to do with you being disabled. 

When claiming benefits for help with the rent landlord’s will very often refuse those tenants. Those that will accept them they may ask for rent in advance or a guarantor. 

Anyway, I wish you good luck but I won’t be commenting any further on your thread. I don’t appreciate being accused of something I didn’t do!
