Spoke to an advisor when got through and he said payment are being made from yesterday (Tuesday 25th)
Don’t know why they don’t have a system that can just send the payment to everyone in the same day?! It’s always a guessing game. Surely the computers can handle it! If I can send a payment to someone and they’d get it in seconds but for some reason governments can’tIt also specifically says don’t ring them because they won’t be able to tell you exactly when you will receive it. BACS payments also take 3-5 working days to go into your bank. For this reason no one will have received it yet.If they don’t have your bank details then they will send you a cheque which could take up to the end of the year to receive.
Yes, when we transfer money to someone it’s usually done instantly but just imagine how many people they have to pay this money too. They first have to check all the mobility claims to see whether people had a good condition bonus early during the pandemic. If they did then they won’t be entitled to this payment now, unless they are on an extended lease. It’s not physically possible for anyone to complete this refund with one simple push of a button. If you’re entitled to this £350 you will receive it, you just need to wait.0 -

The automated service that Motability programmed says it can take until the end of December. So someone made that for me to be able to hear it! So that’s another lil bit of confusing info to add to the mix.

Motability have announced this week that £350 of scheme user's 'Good Condition Bonus' will be paid early, to help with the cost of living.
You can read more about what all this means if you're a Motability customer on their website:
We’re working hard to keep the Motability Scheme as affordable as possible in a time where costs are rising.
In reviewing the Scheme this year, we found that customers are taking such good care of their vehicles, we can pay £350 of your Good Condition Bonus early. We hope this payment can provide some help with making the most of your vehicle during a challenging time.
The remaining amount will be paid at the end of your lease as usual for vehicles returned in good condition. This will be £250 for a three-year lease, or £550 for a five-year lease.
Receiving your payment
Payments will start from late October for customers who have added their bank details in their Motability Scheme online account and will take around three weeks to complete.
There are also changes for any new leases ordered on or after 1st October 2022. This means that the 'Good Condition Payment', as it is now called, for three-year leases for vehicles will be £250. For five-year leases this will be £350.
Motability say this will help keep the costs of the scheme as low as possible for it's users. How do you feel about this news? Do you think it will it help with your motoring costs?
I haven't received an email yet am I eligible for the payment?
I don't want to call and I can't seem to get a clear answer.
My Dad has already received his email, he is on a long lease due to needing a WAV. I'm on a 3 year lease.
I didn't get the covid payment.0 -

@klou89 yes you are entitled to the £350. If they have your bank details you will receive it within the next few weeks. If they don't then you will receive a cheque anytime up until the end of the year.

If they don’t have your bank details they will send you a cheque by the end of the year.1 -
Hi
Hoping someone can help me , I recieved this email today but my heart was racing as I've just recently filled in a PIP review form (the DWP said they recieved my forms on the 26th october) my mind immediately went to "oh no they have decided I'm not entitled to motarbility and are taking my car away ,
Because when I changed my car 2 years ago I recieved a good condition bonus after I handed the car back when I collected the one exchanged for ,
Does it mean I'm losing my car , I logged into my account and it says "lease end 2024"
I'm going out of my mind if anyone can help I'd appreciate it a lot thank you x0 -

I'm going out of my mind if anyone can help I'd appreciate it a lot thank you xThat good condition bonus you received after you returned your previous car was for that car. If you didn't receive any good condition bonus during covid for your current lease then you will receive the £350.With regards to your PIP review, you will not receive the decision through email, you will receive the decision in a letter but your review could take several months, potentially longer.0 -
Motability have so much money in the bank that they could pay people the bonus as a one off and still keep the the bonuses as they were. How do we get a copy of the last accounts so that there finances can be trasparent0

I don't know if they have or not but the rules for the good condition bonus have changed from 1st October 2022 so the £350 will be returned to you. I have no idea how to get a copy of their accounts either sorry.
